German Flecktarn Combat RucksackThis is an original-issue Bundeswehr Combat Rucksack in the iconic German Flecktarn five-color camouflage — the same field pack carried by German soldiers on exercise and deployment. Sourced directly from military surplus channels, every unit is the real deal, with the construction, hardware, and markings expected of authentic German government-issue gear. Canteen not included.
Specifications - Origin: Original Bundeswehr (German military) issue
- Camouflage: German Flecktarn (5-color woodland)
- Shell: Nylon exterior with rubberized interior lining
- Main compartment: approximately 23" x 12" x 11"
- Weight: approximately 3.4 lbs
- Closure: Drawstring top, storm flap with quick-release buckles, bottom access zipper
These are previously issued packs and will show honest field-use character — minor scuffs, scratches on the hardware, faded markings, and the broken-in feel of gear that has already seen service. That patina is the appeal for collectors and reenactors, and it's a feature, not a flaw, for end users who want a workhorse pack without the stiffness of brand-new kit. Each rucksack is unique; minor cosmetic variation from unit to unit should be expected.
