The Trioxane Fuel bar was the standard USGI compressed fuel bar that soldiers used to heat up their rations while out in the field. Each bar will burn for approximately 8-9 minutes which is more than long enough to heat up a canteen cup of water. These fuel bars are also handy for starting campfires as they will burn hot and clean even with wet tinder.
Each box of fuel bars contains three individually wrapped bars, which will give you enough fuel for an entire day of rations. Bars can be broken in half if trying to heat a small amount of water.

These are the larger 3" long fuel bars. There is another style out in the world that are only 1.5" squares.
