Used USGI Lensatic Compass

The USGI Lensatic compass is so-called because it has a magnifying lens with which to observe the compass scales while simultaneously eyeballing a landmark by means of the wire in the lid and a slot in the lens holder. Folding the lens holder down lifts and immobilizes the compass card, thereby protecting its needle bearing while in transit.

  • These are actual US Military Issue, lensatic compasses made in the U.S.A.
  • All compasses have been recalibrated to make sure they function properly and point North.
  • Case conditions vary but are in overall used - good condition. Will have scratches, some might have minor pitting and paint bubbling.
  • Case color will be various shades of Olive Green. Could be dark, could be light
  • Bezels will rotate and hold properly.
  • Compasses will NOT come with lanyard or case
